Updates from around the club:
A few projects and maintenance items completed last week:
This week we had planned to make a post about our invasive vines that grow so quickly in our naturalized areas around the course, but our irrigation system had other plans! We had luckily gone a couple of weeks without any major irrigation failures but that all ended on Monday. On Monday we discovered a 12" mainline leak underneath the #10 tee. Then a reducing coupling failed! 2'x8" that was buried under 5' of soil and encapsulated in 2 yards of concrete!!! As you can see from the pictures below this was a major undertaking! We are very fortunate to have such a hard working, dedicated irrigation repair team.
