  Updates from around the club:

Have you seen the Fairways...

Last week we lowered the height of our Fairway mowers a SIGNIFICANT amount which resulted in scalping the turf. Yes, we know the fairways are looking and playing a little rough, but please be patient with us and trust the process.

We have lowered the height of our fairway mowers to reduce the contamination of off-type grasses and to reduce the puffy-ness. Our Fairways should contain only 419 Bermudagrass. Unfortunately the grasses on fairways 1-19 are littered with a high mix of contamination. We do have a much more pure stand of Bermudagrass on holes 19-27. Majority of the off type grasses within the fairways were a result of the poor renovation projects from 1999/2000. Now we are doing our best to rid the fairways of this contamination and provide a better golf experiences for everyone. As you may have seen, some fairways are worse than others and this is due to the amount of contamination within the grass and the fluffy-ness within the turf.

FWY #10

FWY #15

Just a friendly reminder that all 27 holes will be open 8/3 - 8/6!
Then holes 1-9 will be closed 8/7-8/11 for continual course work.

We need you to do a rain dance!
This has been one dry summer and we are in need of some rain! With it being August and the amount of rain we have received this summer being so low, we may have to stop watering the rough. We are giving everyone a heads up and are hoping we have some rain coming our way soon!
