2024 Golf Course Irrigation Renovation:

IRRIGATION UPDATES AND SCHEDULES:
In early March of 2024 University Park began an irrigation renovation of all 27 holes and the driving range! This is a very exciting project for the club as we have struggled for years with the over 30 year old systems and its reliability issues. The irrigation contractor (Leibold Irrigation, more information about them can be found here; https://www.li-inc.com/ ) has been on site for a few weeks and we have made good progress. To date we have installed ALL of the irrigation controllers (over 45) and have installed several direction bore pipes (road & pond crossings). We have 17 directional bores sites in total that need to be completed, the picture below explains the process.

Continued Work Schedule:
Tentative schedule for the next 6 weeks: (tentative, weather and other unknown issues dependant)
- Today - first week of April: Directional bore work to continue.
- Week of April 8th: Back 9 (19-27) Prepare for mainline trenching and installation, (locating and mapping existing irrigation and drainage).
- Week of April 15: Start mainline trenching & installation April 16th sprinkler heads will be flagged (there will be a lot of irrigation flags scattered over the back 9 initially, until we can get them marked on the gps and marker "whiskers" installed)
- Week if April 22: Continued mainline installation and sprinkler head layout.
