Updates from around the club:
Its going to be COLD!!!:
The next few days are going to be some of the coldest weather we have experienced in this part of Florida in recent memory (over 30 years)! And as such we have to take a few precautions. Below you will see a couple of pictures and quick video of the team deploying the "cold cloth" over the annual flowers. They still may not survive the cold and frost but we felt we needed to make an attempt.
Other issues to expect from the pending cold and frosty weather will be the dormancy of our golf course turfgrass! Yes, we are going to be turning brown unfortunately, but the upside is you should get a few more yards of roll out of your drives! We will update the blog and post some pictures of any heavy frost and also update on how the flower fare after we remove the "blankets"
Outside dining update:
You may have noticed the flurry of activity around the outside dining project the past few weeks. It is very exciting to see the column and header framing going into place! We will be taking delivery of the timber trusses shortly and will soon thereafter be pouring concrete into the column and header framing mentioned above. Very exciting!
